On the right path....

Another gorgoeus day- luckily I was home in time to have a short ride and wow what changes we(Cam and I) have made!!
What was different today:

• Cameo cantered to the gate as soon as she saw me (saw me twice and cantered both times)
• she stayed completely lb and focussed on me the entire 40 minutes or so despite when riding Roger was loading the trailer with firewood lumps by throwing it in (so there were loud irregular bangs coming from behind the trees, her spooky spot) AND when he took the quadbike plus trailer and two bouncing dogs up the hill in full view Cam never even looked
• she was trying her heart out to do what she thought I wanted, even though she is not normally motivated/confident to trot herself without being asked
• she did two lovely soft in body (lateral and longitudinal flexion) trot circles online straight away(so we stopped - didn't ask for more)
• she offered sideways over a cone and had lots of 'different' ideas of her own
• we got 6 strokes each side in lf and a very soft return to a 'straight' neck (softer than yesterday)
• when riding although she 'jumped' into trot more than usual it was a lot softer and I was able to stay fluid and didn't lose my balance once!

Think that was it!! VERY pleased - although not great that she jumps into trot so much she was trying SO hard so we will sort that one outdown the track.I think it may be because she is moving with not much 'go' in the walk and pulls herself into trot from the front rather than pushing from the back.

Can't wait for my days off!! and...yay days start getting longer from tomorrow
