Had a fun session with Merlot just now, he just wants to interact with me so much I can't turn that down. We played 'pick up cones' at liberty - mainly becasue that was about all we could see due to their reflective band - bet the makers never thought they'd be useful for this purpose...
He just loves picking things up then being rewarded sometimes with a piece of carrot - funny even though there was plenty of hay to eat he didn't want to be with the others - must have smelt the carrot - but he knows he has to earn it.....
I'd like to keep this connection...where will it take us....!!

nice.... funny how they can smell carrots in pockets isn't it.. what does he do with the cones once he picks them up?
